Efficient application of quality tools is crucial for manufacturing enterprises to improve organizational efficiency, optimize processes and ensure product quality. Through scientific quality management and tool application, enterprises can continuously optimize products and maintain long-term core competitiveness. In 2024, the company achieved remarkable results in quality tool empowerment. The Quality Tool Empowerment Team, composed of members from the Quality Department, Engineering Technology Center, R&D Department and Manufacturing Department, has promoted process optimization and operational standardization through proficient tool application and systematic talent training, and was awarded the 2024 "Organizational Capacity Building Award". This outstanding achievement stems from the team’s solid professional competence, excellent teamwork and steady implementation. Below are the outstanding deeds of the team.

Empowerment via Tools to Enhance All Staff’s Analytical Capabilities:

Targeting R&D, process, quality and other departments, the Quality Tool Empowerment Team delivered comprehensive training on statistical analysis tools and CPK/PPK capability assessment. Standardized calculation spreadsheets and methods greatly improved employees’ proficiency in tool application and process analysis. Meanwhile, the team trained over 80 employees on DOE (Design of Experiments) through theoretical lectures, software practices, after-class tutorials and assessments. Certificates were awarded to 50 qualified participants to upgrade their skills, laying solid support for the company’s operational efficiency and decision-making quality.

Precise Measurement to Ensure Incoming Material Stability:

For quality management, the Quality Tool Empowerment Team tackled issues from the source and comprehensively promoted MSA (Measurement System Analysis) capacity building, including system updates, staff training and equipment upgrading. This ensures equipment precision and accuracy in every link from incoming inspection to product delivery. With online training and on-site coaching, the team assisted suppliers in improving equipment precision and incoming material quality. In addition, through SPC (Statistical Process Control) training, online courses were delivered to multiple suppliers to reinforce the importance of stable incoming materials.

At the incoming inspection stage, the team has been committed to building IQC (Incoming Quality Control) capabilities. Through MSA analysis and improvement on components, the team boosted consistency among operators in high-precision 2D measurement and visual inspection. Such refined inspection capability ensures stable quality of incoming materials and offers solid assurance for subsequent production processes.

Enhance Material Awareness:

In the field of polymer materials, the Quality Tool Empowerment Team delivered systematic training on polymer materials for departments including R&D and Quality. By elaborating on and distinguishing various types of polymer materials, the team greatly improved engineers’ understanding of polymer materials. This capability development creates more options for the company in material selection and product design.

With outstanding organizational capacity building, the Quality Tool Empowerment Team has enhanced professional capabilities across internal departments. Through supplier training, the team also lifted quality standards throughout the supply chain.
